Woman Found 600 Miles From Home After Forgetting to Circle Back
Have you ever wondered what would happen if you forgot to circle back?

Have you ever wondered what would happen if you forgot to circle back?
A local woman just found out.
Marisa Cole, a project manager at a financial tech startup, disappeared late last month from her home city of San Mateo, California. She was reported missing after failing to circle back with her supervisor the following day.
After eleven long days of searching, Cole was found wandering downtown Phoenix, Arizona trying to close the loop with strangers when a good samaritan connected her with local authorities for help.
“Marisa was a star employee,” says Cole’s former manager, Jeff Bullock. “She always came to meetings on time, never tried to boil the ocean, and always prioritized shareholder value.”
“When she never circled back, I started to worry,” Bullock explains.
Sources close to Cole share that she is glad to be back home and ready to start work again.
“She’s a little embarrassed about her mistake, but she’s more worried about not hitting her KPIs,” says long-time work friend Clara Abbott.
In a statement from Cole’s workplace, a representative shared: “We’re so glad that Marisa is back home safe and sound. We are still learning what can be done to prevent this from happening again in the future.”
Cole is the fifth person to go missing this year due to failure to circle back. She is reported to be confused but in good spirits.
