2025 Planning? This Marketing Director Doesn’t Even Know What’s For Lunch

In a story developing during the fifteen minutes of free time between back-to-back meetings, B2B SaaS Marketing Director, Soraya Estrada, can’t decide between ordering Chipotle from DoorDash or eating a wilty salad over a sink full of dirty dishes for the third day in a row.

Reportedly, Estrada must submit her 2025 plan to her CEO before the holiday break despite not even knowing what she’ll have for lunch today.

As Estrada weighed the pros and cons of each lunch option, she received a two-word Slack from her CEO that sent her into a tailspin.

“The message just said ‘2025 plan???’” Estrada recounts. “I almost spit out my three-hour-old coffee in panic.”

Even though the passage of time doesn’t change from year to year, Estrada says she was shocked to learn the beginning of a new year is in six weeks — and that 2025 planning is well underway.

“At first I didn’t know what my CEO was talking about,” says Estrada. “I was busy hovering my thumb over the ‘order now’ button, debating if $50 is too much to pay for a burrito bowl, a cup of unsweetened tea, and my remaining dignity.”

When asked about next steps for 2025 planning, she shared: “I’ll get to it soon, I have plenty of time right?”

Estrada was last seen eating a handful of trail mix directly from the bag murmuring “Oooo, maybe I’ll get Panera!”
